I had a fab time at Julie's gallery on Saturday, having driven up from Coffs Harbour with Jan Allsopp and Deb Wall. It was a bit of an adventure as I'd not been to Alstonville before, nor had I visited an artists' book event and I really didn't know what to expect. Well what a revelation! I've got to the state library but helen is gone home and the gallery is closed but i can use the computers. I don't know if the gallery in the library will be open tomorrow as it's a public holiday tomorrow in brisbane. Hopefully the state gallery will be open and GOMA will be open.
