Call for Book Artists

Artists' Book Fair Liverpool The Artists' Book Fair will take place as part of the Liverpool Independents Biennial on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November in the city-centre. This will be the first artists' book fair in Liverpool and we are looking for artists who would like to show their books, multiples and paper-based or printed works. SCU acquisitive artists' book award and exhibition at the Barratt Galleries, Alstonville

I had a fab time at Julie's gallery on Saturday, having driven up from Coffs Harbour with Jan Allsopp and Deb Wall. It was a bit of an adventure as I'd not been to Alstonville before, nor had I visited an artists' book event and I really didn't know what to expect. Well what a revelation! Lots of people, which in itself is encouraging, and 70-odd wonderful books of all sorts, shapes and sizes. checking out the books in Brisbane and northern rivers areas

I've got to the state library but helen is gone home and the gallery is closed but i can use the computers. I don't know if the gallery in the library will be open tomorrow as it's a public holiday tomorrow in brisbane. Hopefully the state gallery will be open and GOMA will be open.
