Event Description

Printmakers in Australia and worldwide are invited to submit entries for our second biennial Print Exhibition 1-24 August at Tanks Art Centre, Cairns. Works in any print medium (or combination of media), including books, unique state prints and unorthodox print-related media and formats, are invited for selection.

The inaugural Inkmasters Print Exhibition, part of Inkfest 2012, was a huge success with prints to the value of over $20,000 sold, and visitor numbers exceeding 4000. Inkfest, a biennial event, is being held again this year with Inkmasters Print Exhibition 2014 as well as a range of associated activities including Artists in Residence, workshops and a Big Print community event. For the first time, international artists, as well as Australian artists, are invited to submit works.
The online version of the entry form is available for download on the Inkmasters website:
Entries close 02 June 2014. Please pass the invitation on to your networks.
We very much look forward to your participation, and to another successful exhibition.

Available to everyone: Robert Jacks & Printed Matter

10 September - 24 October 2016

Printed Matter is pleased to announce Available to Everyone: Robert Jacks and Printed Matter, curated by Peter Anderson.

The exhibition presents two connected bodies of material: a survey of artists’ books by Australian painter, sculptor and bookmaker Robert Jacks (1942-2014), and an extensive selection of publications drawn from Jacks’ own collection, many of which were purchased from Printed Matter in the early years of the organization.

If you are interested in advertising your event, publication  or project here - contact Robert regarding rates.
