Artist Books 3.0

Where artists' books and the book arts meet online...

Hi

I am a lecturer with Moray Arts School, Moray college, part of UHI in the Highlands of Scotland.

I am looking at starting a working/teaching collection of Artists Books to be archived at the college in the hope that students can handle and be inspired by them.

If anyone has any hints & tips for starting such a collection I would be grateful for input.

Thank you very much for your great ideas.

I hadn't thought of maquettes and how exciting would it be to really have a useable collection that students can get right into. I intend to use your ideas as the very basis of the collection. If it cannot be easily explored or handled then it won't belong in the collection.

If you are still willing to send a working model to us that would be fantastic. Let me know and I can forward the College address.

cheers
