Mail Art Books from textile and mixed media - a swop

I would like to swop booklets with other artists for an exhibition I have coming up in 2012. I know there are a few others who also would like to swop. I am suggesting a four fold booklet. Size, A3 length in a 4-fold accordion format. Height, 10cm (A3 divided by 3). For this first run, I am suggesting any topic you choose, just stick to the size format. That will create the needed unity among the pieces.

Each artist will post a booklet to the people on the list.They will in turn receive from all the participating artists. Please note, once you have committed to this project it is essential that you post to each artist on the list. I will update this discussion with addresses as they come in. I think we will put a weeks limit on this first trial run for participants names and addresses. All booklets must be posted by the end of February.

Please send your addresses to my inbox and I will circulate the addresses among the participants.

Great! So if we have a week; what's the rough deadline? Also I don't think its a good idea to put our addresses up on here as its open to anyone, not only artists books 3.0 members.... perhaps if we all send personal messages to you Cheryl and you can collate the addresses?

Addresses of participants by the end of the week. All posted by last week in February. If more people want to join after that we will add a second call. - I am always keen:-) - being compulsive and all :-)))

How many books do we have to send? I`m from Argentina, the post is very expensive nowadays here and may take lot of time to arrive.

Hey Marcela - hello again :-) As many books as there are artists who participate - BUT we can stop at the first five for this trial run. Including you that would be 4 of us - one more then we close the call. That means you would make 4 books - unless you wanted one for yourself as part of the process - 5 books.
