I received the same email. How can we stop this nonsense from getting through to a very professional site?

No, I don't know her either. I received the same email last week and did not respond to it. It seems suspicious and I doubt this person has anything to do with Book Arts.

This was a spammer - I have since banned her from the site - every week theer are a number of people who sign on to the site to advertise unrelated products or to send spam. Every now and then a spam message gets through. I immediately ban the sender from the site which removes them and their messages from everyone's pages - unfortunately because of time zone differences etc (I am in Australia) - the messages sometimes are received by members.

As this site is very much a off duty activity for me that means that I can't always be watching over the site. I have appointed another person as an administrator as well and as the site has grown so quickly will need to get a couple more people on board who can assist in administering as well.
