Everyone keeps telling me about the Leeds artist book fair, but I can't seem to find any current information about it!?!

Does anyone know where I should be looking?

Hi Melita, We shall be organising another International Artists Book Fair in France May  2012 who are invited to take part by coming and showing your books or by sending them for us to show. I will send you the application forms in September.

There is so much inspiring work on this site and by googling artists books.

Maybe an event can be organised in your country. I will get back to you with some of my contacts in croatia,

jan fairbairn-edwards

FYI: MCBA Call for Artists' Books

Minnesota Center for Book Arts is seeking to increase the number of artists represented in its retail shop. With over 70,000 visitors each year, we offer a great way to develop new audiences for your work. All media, methods and techniques are welcome, from fine letterpress to Xerox zines. Consignment sales are split 70% to the artist and 30% to MCBA. Disbursements are made to artists on a quarterly basis.

If you are interested in having your artists' books reviewed for possible inclusion, please send digital images, brief descriptions, and retail prices to Jeff Rathermel, MCBA Artistic Director and Interim Executive Director (jrathermel@mnbookarts.org). Place NEW WORK FOR MCBA in the memo line.

While we are happy to review new work at any time, we will be conducting an expanded review session at the end of July. At this session we will choose artists to be featured during fall and winter holiday events. To be reviewed at this important session, submissions must be received no later than July 29, 2010.

Available to everyone: Robert Jacks & Printed Matter

10 September - 24 October 2016

Printed Matter is pleased to announce Available to Everyone: Robert Jacks and Printed Matter, curated by Peter Anderson.

The exhibition presents two connected bodies of material: a survey of artists’ books by Australian painter, sculptor and bookmaker Robert Jacks (1942-2014), and an extensive selection of publications drawn from Jacks’ own collection, many of which were purchased from Printed Matter in the early years of the organization.
