Happy new year, everyone. Sorry I haven't played as much as I wanted in the 3.0 projects, but it's been a busy year for me. Hopefully 2014 will give me some time to jump in on some new stuff here.

I miss seeing everyone's work in person, but this site in general is a huuuuge kickstart to my creativity. Kudos and thanks to all of you, for being so inspirational.

Ok, maybe dragging the chain a bit on book swaps. I needed to purchase an ink cartridge ($200). Anyway that will arrive early next week, so can get on with it then./ My books are 1 accordion format - self portrait "Yellow Spectral Sun Living in the Window for the End of Time" the first 9 images in series 1. For the stitched book I am making a dedication to my god mother titled "Narelle"

I am in complete confusion and feel very embarrassed as I don't seem to have thanked Marian for her beautiful book on Music with the yummy paper inclusions, nor Ptrzia for her book on Borders and Crossings which is very elegant and I love the words and I can't find any record of having thanked Zea for her great book on Borders and Crossings.  Please forgive my tardiness everyone.  I'm not sure what has happened but I have been more disorganised than usual over the past few months.  Thank you again to you all for your books which give me so much pleasure.

I've been wondering that, too. My heart goes out to them: first the drought and fires, and now this.

Available to everyone: Robert Jacks & Printed Matter

10 September - 24 October 2016

Printed Matter is pleased to announce Available to Everyone: Robert Jacks and Printed Matter, curated by Peter Anderson.

The exhibition presents two connected bodies of material: a survey of artists’ books by Australian painter, sculptor and bookmaker Robert Jacks (1942-2014), and an extensive selection of publications drawn from Jacks’ own collection, many of which were purchased from Printed Matter in the early years of the organization.
