Artist Books 3.0

Where artists' books and the book arts meet online...

I'm considering tipping in one photograph to a commercially produced (Blurb) book of photographs. What considerations should I think about? Can I use thinned down YES glue to attach the photograph? The photo would be added to a blank page after the book is published. Would the glue or added photo pucker the page? Are books with tipped in photos bound afterward to allow for the slight increase in page thickness?  I'd be grateful for any advice.

Hi C Harris, currently I use a wide format printer to produce my large works using all types of paper, lately I have been using an adhesive Kodak paper, which works well, example of this may be viewed on my recent exhibition 'Putting  Lid on it' where the photo images are placed onto the boxes. I don't recommend any type of spray adhesive  as the overspray will eventually turn yellow and mar your work. I to have used Blurb to publish books.

cheers C
