Writing Zines Workshop with Adam Ford
Wednesday Nov 26th, 2008
6-8pm at Ross House, 247 Flinders Lane, Melbourne.

Cost: $22 for Express Media members or $25 for non-members.

Adam will talk about the kinds of writing you might like to consider for your zines. He’ll talk about comics, reviews (including tips on how to scam free stuff), creative writing, rants and raves - by the time this workshop is over you’ll have the beginnings of a bunch of stuff that would certainly not look out of place in your new zine. Everyone who attends this workshop will get a free copy of Adam’s zine, ‘Jutchy Ya Ya’.

Adam Ford is a zinemaker, comic maker, novel writer, poet and internet guy. His zines include ‘Jutchy Ya Ya’, ‘Duck Fat’, ‘What Astronauts Wear’ and the zine anthology ‘Chimp Frenzy’. When he’s not making zines Adam writes novels, poetry, comics and short stories, some of which have been published by actual real publishers, and some of which he’s published himself.

Presented by Express Media.

Available to everyone: Robert Jacks & Printed Matter

10 September - 24 October 2016

Printed Matter is pleased to announce Available to Everyone: Robert Jacks and Printed Matter, curated by Peter Anderson.

The exhibition presents two connected bodies of material: a survey of artists’ books by Australian painter, sculptor and bookmaker Robert Jacks (1942-2014), and an extensive selection of publications drawn from Jacks’ own collection, many of which were purchased from Printed Matter in the early years of the organization.

If you are interested in advertising your event, publication  or project here - contact Robert regarding rates.
