Home late for dinner after an intensive day of bookbinding -- a CBBAG course given by superb binder Don Taylor ( and book artist ( -- to find your email invitation. This turns out to be an opportunity to have a look at what you've been doing and to explore your blog. I'm fascinated by the range of your work, the play of natural and folded forms that I've seen so far. I've really only begun a more serious venture into basic techniques for traditional book forms to gain some experience for branching out. It's been only about a year and a half since my writing and first poetry translation prompted me to being making poetry chapbooks, and that seemed a natural continuation of some of the structures I'd made previously that incorporate images, objects and texts. I have a number of items I've made and photographed that I need to settle down and post on AB 3.0 -- look forward to getting more involved through this site, and always inspired and amazed by what you're making.

hello Catherine, l love the forms you are making and the lovely gentle use of colour used throughout your 'text blocks', and also the lovely cohesion between the disparate books or objects...really inspiring and beautiful work. Thankyou!
