Book Workshop in Anchorage, Alaska

I spent two days on the University of Alaska’s campus teaching students and community members how to bind three styles of books. We had a great time! Outside the snow was melting, the sun eventually came out, and there was even a moose sighted in the parking lot

Thanks, Bea! I'm glad to finally get something up here.
I was just thinking of you as I was adding those photos, and realizing that most of them are work from your class! I also just got to use all the little sample, demo & trade books we made then, as I was teaching my partner's daughter and sister to make books. I learned so much in that class!
I love being able to see your work on this site, too -- especially the new work! I'll look forward to keeping up with what you are up to!

It's great to meet you! I really enjoy your work, especially the NMWA pieces - a favorite spot of mine too. We share an interest in Tarot as well. I look forward to talking with you!

Thanks for the invite, Bea - I shall watch for the details. I expect I shall be able to arrange to get there for your lecture - unless we get another bout of wild weather! May I say how much I like your work? I have come to book art late in my life - but it is nonetheless a joy and pleasure!
