I am a blog virgin so here's hoping this ends up in the right place etc
I went to this Fair and the Conference last w/e and it was fabulous. Quite overwhelming really. So much to see and so many exhibitors of all sorts. Printed Matter did such a great job. And having it in PS1 was inspired. The whole fair in one venue (and what a wonderful venue it is!) . Hi Clyde... and a Merry Christmas to you too! I'm not sure if you will have seen my print in this year's PCA commission - I nearly went mad doing it too! The print looks deceptively clean and simple and it was a complete bugger to print. Thank god they make you wait two years before applying again! I'm interested in your PhD: what are you doing it on? I've just applied to SCU up in Lismore to do mine but haven't yet heard if they'll have me. I've got an academic contact at Melbourne but he's a very pragmatic man and thinks my arty-farty PhD idea is rubbish! Are you moving to Melbourne or doing it long-distance? I started mine in the UK but have opted to restart it here because (as I found out...) long-distance relationships often don't work. Have fun, hope to catch up with you soon, Sara

re a book -yes Im still keen, I keep a collection of used cardboard boxes some of which I picked up specifically with your brown books in mind

uni's still in full swing - though should be able to get some paper to you at the end of semester
