ReSite

Re – a prefix indicating repetition.

Site – the place where some activity or event takes place.

ReSite is an assembling publication with a difference.

All pages are to be conceived as having an element of audience participation or interaction. Works could take the form of scores, instructions, or interventions to be realized by the reader.

ReSite is part of the tradition of Fluxus editions were anyone could perform a Fluxus action or score.

Hello David,

Thanks for the Goodies!! I have a number of students who will contribute to the Salon - Vicky and I are in the PhD examination zone for the next month - will see if we can get something together.

The article on FOAB is with Bonefolder and expect that Peter wants to include it in the next issue later in the year - thanks for your corrections - I will let you know when it comes through.

The pictures of the workshop on you website look great. I'm wondering if the 'Bound in Yellow' book has been placed with the collections that you thought you may get it into - I'm looking at updating the study Resume.

Cheers for now.

Hello David - I'm working up a piece on the FOAB V event and I'm wanting to make the following comment about your presentation - I've got most of the key names you mentioned worked out - on Google checking some are illusive - I may have typos transferring from my rough notes. Can you check and advise - thanks.

Also - did you get my student Zine?

Cheers for now.

Doug

Artist and educator David Dellafiora introduced attendees to the art form of assembly magazines and mail art. Delving back through the history of the genre he discussed works by George Maciunas of Fluxus fame and other exponents of the art including Ray Johnson, Wallace Berman, Reomacnova, Victor Barone, Antonio Gomez, Susanna Luckner, Arthole and Cyanobacteria International. Dellafiora’s presentation was illustrated by examples of the works discussed. His own practice centers on the Field Study Republic, Kart 10 mail art and Wipe projects. Dellafiora offered information leaflets about mail art projects which were vigorously sought after by delegates at the presenter changeover.
