Hi! I really want a microfilm machine too! Sooooooooo expensive though! Thanks for the weloveyourbooks link, I did know it was coming up, was in last years one. #
Yes we should meet up! I will email you.
Hi Esther, how was Christmas, any new work? I am steadily working on my Micropages project, applying for grants etc... while still holding a full time job! Fun! Need to update my website too.... lovely snow!
Hi Esther, the move was very stressful but thats to be expected! Micro-pages is slowly getting there, I have two booked venues and lots of interested artists, I just need the time to apply for grants!! A full-time job and DIY to do doesn't help but I am enlisting help from a a books arts and arts management friend so hopefully I will have more to tell soon. How are you? Any exhibitions recently? (I am sending a book to a two day envelope exhibition in Liverpool.)
Hi Esther, I'm really pleased to get your e-mail. Jumping back into college life is quite daunting and exciting all at the same time.
I will be staying in the halls on Havil Street because it is close to Camberwell. By going through the college it was the easiest way to find accommodation from over here and... by being classed as an International student I automatically get placed.
My main priority right now is getting everything ready over here for the time while I'm away - art work ready for two shows, taxes, husband and garden (there's much more but too much to think about!!).
I'm also taking several hours a day to read books, that pertain to my proposal, and trying to get my brain back into the college mind set - plus I purchased a new digital SLR camera and I am having to learn all it’s new gadgets.
I fly over on the 29th August and I look forward to meeting you. If there’s anything I should know about the course or stuff that I should bring – please e-mail me.
Hello there Esther.....just checked out your website, very "smart and cool dudes kind of thang" then your etsy shop (gone to lunch) so popped to the blog ..........was interested to see that you are on the M.A. Bookarts course at Camberwell. , How is that going? Are you managing to keep up with it all sounds like you have a lot on your plate. Theres a woman on here who is just about to start that course this September. I think she is USA based and is moving over to London for the duration, cant think who it is now??!! Maybe you two will connect.
bye for now
