Editioning

I have a question about editioning. If I make books that differ only in the substrate e.g. I make some on commercial paper and some on handmade paper would they be considered to be one edition or two?

HI Gail, thanks for that information. It seems that there is not much left of the Primrose supply; if they order more in, I can buy it from them. But if that doesn't happen, I might take up your suggestion of becoming a member of your organisation. Re Tokyo: you might be interested to visit the Tokyo Printing Museum (http://www.printing-museum.org/en/) which has a great letterpress setup downstairs. There is also a small paper musuem in Tokyo (http://www.papermuseum.jp/en/). And an Origami Centre which is excellent and has great paper (http://www.origamikaikan.co.jp/info/e_us.html).

Thanks Gail. I did email Primrose also but Jean couldn't find the supplier. Could you let me know the supplier if you know it, otherwise, when might the next order be? Could I purchase some from that?
I need to go out now, but will give you some paper leads later today.

Dear Gail,

I have recently returned from some time in Tokyo where I undertook a Japanese papermaking workshop. Would you have any suggestions for buying kozo here in Australia? (I'm Sydney-based)
Best,
Marian

Hello Gail,
I am sorry to hear about Valda. I believe she was in one of my workshops there a few years back and made a wonderful box all about fonts/type. A very talented and thoughtful woman. I am sure she will be missed in your group.
Regards,
Sandy Webster
