Hi Gillian,

Thanks for your message! I hop you figure out the blog thing. I like your collage work. You must always be looking for usable images wherever you go! Nice binding too. Something I need to teach myself.

Dear Gillian,  you dont have to improve your pc skills, I had to approve any comments on my page and here it is. I read one minute ago your letter to Scotts grandson and the letter is realy touching, the book is one of these artist books, I dont have to read from cover to cover, but imediatly I feel the artist state of mind, I only have to take that book in my hands and I feel remembered what is important in living together, living together in a family, together with children. But then I tried to read a page on PC Monitor, and I think it would also be interesting to make a public reading. I am thinking about the word "structure" in your latest post, and I will write something  to you, I always write with LEO by my side, LEO is an online dictionary, because my English ...oh it takes some time, by for now.

Attended Guy Begbies' Advance Bookmaking in July.

It was a great course and very well taught. Guy is great and very patient. We crammed a lot into the week. It was run at UWE Bristol. A lovely group of people and a cracking collection of artists books to browse at lunchtime.  :) (and sarsh never lets you run out of cakes with your coffee).

Available to everyone: Robert Jacks & Printed Matter

10 September - 24 October 2016

Printed Matter is pleased to announce Available to Everyone: Robert Jacks and Printed Matter, curated by Peter Anderson.

The exhibition presents two connected bodies of material: a survey of artists’ books by Australian painter, sculptor and bookmaker Robert Jacks (1942-2014), and an extensive selection of publications drawn from Jacks’ own collection, many of which were purchased from Printed Matter in the early years of the organization.
