CON-TEXT a NordicProject on Artists´ Books

Artists´ books seem to be a well established and defined art genre especially in the English-speaking part of the world - but that´s not quite the situation in Denmark and the Nordic countries. However, something is beginning to happen...

Dear Hanne, since 2 mounth I read the ABYB and I always stop at page 154. There is a photo of a book, and in, on the cover is a compass, it is japanese stab binding, thats what I see and I was so often trying to envisage, what happens when I open the book? I read your wonderful text and today in the yearbook and today I wanted to ask you, perhaps she is in artistbooks and I send her a mail, and now I find same pictures in the slideshow above. Thank you this is a wonderful book.

Hi Hanne,

Happy new year.
Very happy to have my artist book selected for the Triennale in Vilnius,Lithuania.

Wish I could get there for the opening but will be there in spirit, very busy with my gallery and and another job 2 days a week coordinating a local community gallery. julie
