- After a reasonably scattergun approach to the arts and creating, in recent years I've settled into painting, drawing, printing and bookbinding. In the last year I've found myself happily creating artist books with an ongoing fascination for they way they combine art and object. I am studying for my BA (Art) online in the pursuit of more knowledge, skills and that seemingly important bit of paper. I live on the North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. I've lived in regional areas all my life with the corresponding positives (lifestyle and environment) and negatives (limited access to the arts, artists and education). I've found a happy balance to these through the internet. I am finally settled and happy and creating!

i spoke to a lady before who said i could put them into her her news letter but i dont know whether to sell them or just show them for coverage

As to your question: Yes, mathematicians earn money. At the time when I was applying for jobs (that was before the current crisis hit us here in Germany, but I think it still is true) they were among the best earning academics. Though one could argue of course whether someone working in the management of a company is really working 'as a mathematician' ;-)
