Background
Jane uses a holistic approach to book creation – she produces her own books (including sometimes making the paper), she also writes their text and does their illustration. Jane produces her books in a number of different formats – hand made books, normal published books and also e-books. She has her own small publishing company and some of her books can be viewed on her website.
Jane has a Fine Arts degree from the Australian National University and post-graduate qualifications from the University of Canberra. In 2007 she attended the three week international writers’ residential course at Exeter College, Oxford University. In 2009 she attended a program at the University of Cambridge for a week. In 2010 she will be doing a one month residency at the RedGate Gallery in Beijing.
