Hey marshall,
I know where you are coming from. the shit hit the proverbial fan here also due to the fact that as australia is the us' biggest fan we tend to blindly follow you down the path to destruction. not as bad here on the funding front for NGOs though as the government here believes it cheaper to fund them than to run the organisation and pay for everything themselves. But there has been a noticeable shift from funding individuals to funding community based collaborative arts projects with community outcomes, hence approximately 65% of working artists here earn less than $7000 per annum from their art.So here am I at 48 still waiting tables in a restaurant. I would be really interested in working with you in the future and am looking towards applying for a grant to undertake a residency in New York.a global non-profit artists run network for the distribution of art is a great idea. do we get to put all the commercial gallery owners up against the wall when the revolution comes?
stay real
welcome on-line dude - climate change here is at the political forefront as we move ahead of the US Canada Asian pack - Kevin07 (and Penny Wong - environmental portfolio) are setting up our emissions trading scheme and the general public is more behind it than the business community . . . a good time to come for a visit?
