- Before entering the MFA in the Book Arts program at The University of Alabama, Michelle Ray worked as an academic art librarian. She received her bachelors in Studio Arts and her Masters in Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh and has been interested in book arts since 1999. Ray has been active in the book arts field through exhibiting, teaching workshops and serving as adjunct faculty.
