its only a couple of weeks until Impact 7 - international printmakers conference kicks off at Monash University in Melbourne.... I will be heading down the highway to attend the conference - I am presenting as part of the open portfolio on Tuesday 27 Sept in Room E2.11, Building E (School of Architecture), Monash University - from 12.30pm - 3.30pm... I hope to meet a few intrepid artist books members (come up and say 'howdy' won't you!)
I have been trying with little success to contact you regarding letterpress printing. This is a final try.
You can email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or liaise with Cecilia Sharpley. You may already be talking to her.
Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you - its been a very busy couple of weeks! The thesis file is a bit on the large side, so I wouldn't be able to email it to you - I could post it on disc to you instead if you like?
I know what you mean about putting your work up - its always a unsettling (must get around to it myself one of these...weeks)!
The exhibition presents two connected bodies of material: a survey of artists’ books by Australian painter, sculptor and bookmaker Robert Jacks (1942-2014), and an extensive selection of publications drawn from Jacks’ own collection, many of which were purchased from Printed Matter in the early years of the organization.
