At present I'm a student at James Cook Uni. doing my honours about chine colle, a technique used in printmaking to bond a layer of fine paper to a heavier sheet during printing. I have plans to do some artist's books using chine colle in various ways for my exhibition. Please do my survey below. I'm hoping for 100 printmakers responses and this forum might help; the community has grown so rapidly. Thank you so much for taking the time.
Are you registered on INKTERACTION? It's invite onlybut I can sent it to you if you'd like. There are many fine printmakers on there who will be able to answer questions re: Chine-collé

Hello to dear Sandra, how is your study going? Are you going to Mackay next year? Did I tell you that we did some chine colle work with Roberto Stelluti in Italy during the book and paper intensive? I loved the effects and wonder if any comments on the process are of interest to you .remember, i am a virginal chine collette!!! love linda x

Hello sandra, how lovely to hear from you! the workshops and tour are all over and I'm settling into my own life again. it's wonderful to have the time to explore, something I haven't had the chance to do for the last 15 months. I was interested to read your questionairre on chine colle. I love the prints you gave to me when we were together. thank you again for them. I move into a new house in August so I'm going to put them on the wall. they will have a good place to be displayed there! love linda x
