Peta Margaret Lloyd said… Thanks for your comments about my books Stephanie! I really enjoyed working with the matchbox theme, I am a collector of 'things', thus I have a very large collection of matchboxes as well as other things from snail shells, bones from birds, pre used fabric, bottle tops - especially if they are old and rusty, books & boxes, you name it and I most likely collect it! Looks to me like you're a collector too! What form of printmaking do you predominately use? I do quiet a bit with collograph plates, paper plates and plastic plates ('Unifoam' which comes in a large sheet, it's mostly used by the building industry), it's fantastic for embossing partly dried plant material as well it can be used as a collagraph plate.
I'd love to see more images of your work too!
Peta Margaret Lloyd said… Stephanie, I love your books, especially the printed ones! your book structures are wonderful! the altered book with the objects hidden inside is gorgeous, as is the book with the birds flying from it!! Looking at your gallery of photos makes me want to run back down to my studio and start on another project! I'm also a printmaker and book artist who loves using found objects as well as natural items in my books!
Lisa Iversen said… Hi Stephanie! Received "Collections" today... it is spectacular! Thank you!!
Elizabeth Banfield said… Thanks Stephanie, I'm currently working towards my first solo show, getting nervous but very excited too, about how well the books and prints are coming along.
