- Australian Visual Art Teacher currently teaching in Saudi Arabia. Papermaker and artist book maker, sculptor and painter. I enjoy travel, gardening and reading. I love cats and birds which do not always mix. My cats live indoors with an outdoor run and the birds are encouraged to visit my garden with many water features and native plants for food.
I have recently movred to dream studio/gallery with a 3/4 acre garden to plant down to papermaking plants. I have fruit trees galore in my new garden and can't wait to retire so I can add a water feature and rainwater tanks that will alllow me to enjoy the garden 12 months of the year. No more droughts for my garden.
My gallery and studio /home are in an idyllic village with only 12 houses nearby.Rainfall is much higher than my last fdrought ridden property so I anticipate colder wetter winters. My studio is 6metres x 17 metres so I have plenty of space for all my art related projects. The gallery is a shop front area at the front, with big picture windows and is divided from the studio with a lovely big wall that will take the largest painting I can produce.
My Nurture Nature Artist Book
"Nurture Nature" is an artist book with paper made from mulberry bark and iris. Inclusions of skeletal leaves between layers.Round paper was thrown on an embroidery hoop strung with nylon mesh.
