Can we add the word, or at least the concept of opportunity? Not every exhibition possibility is a competition –– if this is a place to list opportunities for artists to exhibit as well as being a listing of competitions.

Thanks for your kind words, Zea. Most of my book have no text. Some have imprinted words from my own handcarved alphabet stamps. I also carve stamps of fish and use it in some of my pieces. I am most interested in structure. I am trying to learn every binding technique I can find. My "content" is in the way my books are meant to be played with, opened and explored. I love the process of making art more than the final result, so my pieces contain alot of engineering and detail. How do you approach your work? Are you a lover of natural things/texture? Are the images on your books' pages telling a story? I enjoy collaborating with my best friend, who is a poet. Her poems are quite personal, so I don't have any pix to show, but I do enjoy deciding how to make a book based on her poetry. Have you ever collaborated on a book art piece?
