That interest me very much but now I have no possibility to travel because I´ll take part of the "Mokuhanga" printmaking course here in Finland at the same month. It´s an traditional japanise way to print.
Also at begining of 2012 I`ll travel to Tanzania to make handmake paper...

Minnesota Center for Book Arts is actively seeking new Artist's Books for consignment in its retail store.
MCBA has several large events planned for the months ahead including October's Evening of Fine Wine and Fine Books, November's Book Arts Fest, and our December Winter Book Publication Party. DAY OF THE DEAD POSTCARD CONTEST - $250 PRIZE!
Minnesota Center for Book Arts (MCBA) is sponsoring a Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) postcard competition, with all entries to be displayed in its Lobby Gallery from September 16 to November 6, 2011. A $250 “best of show” prize will be awarded. Judging will be by MCBA’s staff.

I have just finished a residency at the Anderson Center at Red Wing Minnesota where I made small empty books, broadsheets and glass book forms. Upon my turn to Miami I attended the Whale & Star Summer Workshop with Enrique Martinez Celaya, Dan Siedell, and Gean Moreno. The professional development program addressed successful studio practices.
