Books to Hold or Let Go
Opening Thursday 14 May at Craft ACT, Canberra, and running to 20 June:
An exhibition of fine bookbinding in response to the Ampersand Duck volume Poems to Hold or Let Go (Rosemary Dobson and Rosalind Atkins, 2008). There are 23 binders, including Mia Leijonstedt, Sue Anderson, Genevieve Swifte, Molly Coy, Joy Tonkin, Wayne Stock, Lorraine Brown, Wendy Taylor, Linda Newbown and many others.
There will be an associated floor event on Saturday 16 May, 3-4pm, involving small floor talks by some of the participants and readings of Rosemary Dobson's poetry by poets Geoff Page and Alan Gould. All welcome.
The show in the other space is called Soft Animators and includes work by CUPCO, Ghostpatrol with Cat Rabbit, Alan Jones and Sarah crowEST.
