Artist Books 3.0

Where artists' books and the book arts meet online...

Minnesota Center for Book Arts is actively seeking new Artist's Books for consignment in its retail store.

MCBA has several large events planned for the months ahead including October's Evening of Fine Wine and Fine Books, November's Book Arts Fest, and our December Winter Book Publication Party. These occasions draw collecting audiences and provide ample opportunities to showcase new work. At this time, we are particularly interested in artists' books but we will also accept submissions of prints, broadsides and handmade blank journals. Submissions are accepted and juried on an on-going basis.

To be considered, please email a description of your work, a brief bio, and digital images to MCBA's Consignment Manager Beth Carls at bcarls@mnbookarts.org.

Available to everyone: Robert Jacks & Printed Matter

10 September - 24 October 2016

Printed Matter is pleased to announce Available to Everyone: Robert Jacks and Printed Matter, curated by Peter Anderson.

The exhibition presents two connected bodies of material: a survey of artists’ books by Australian painter, sculptor and bookmaker Robert Jacks (1942-2014), and an extensive selection of publications drawn from Jacks’ own collection, many of which were purchased from Printed Matter in the early years of the organization.
