La información en tiempo real de las Redes nos obliga a repensar las formas en que circula y se intercambia el arte. Requiere atención especial un soporte artístico de bajo perfil hasta ahora, pero de impacto profundo en diversos escenarios: el Libro de Artista. Resulta de capital importancia trascender la concepción ocasional y localizada de los eventos artísticos, utilizando las grandes posibilidades que ofrecen los ciber medio.
Es obligado aprovechar los recursos actuales y por venir, para estimular una formación expandida, una que toma como referente cultural a las ciudades, para generar un flujo continuo de información y conocimiento.
Es indispensable darle visibilidad a individuos y los colectivos que trabajan en los márgenes y periferias.

CONSIDERATIONS
The information in real time of the Web-based Networks forces to us to rethink the forms in which it circulates and the art interchanges. An artistic support of low profile is required, but having a deep impact in diverse scenes: ART BOOK. It is very important to extend the occasional and located conception of the artistic events, using the great possibilities that cyber media offers. It is a necessity to take advantage of the present resources and the ones that comes, to stimulate an expand formation, one that takes the cities like cultural references, to generate a continuous flow of information and knowledge. It is indispensable to give visibility to ones who works in the margins and peripheries.
METAS
Realizar un encuentro simultaneo de carácter virtual y físico con acciones, ponencias exposiciones y talleres sobre el Libro de Artista,, el Libro Ilustrado y en general, sobre ediciones de arte durante, los meses de marzo, abril y mayo de 2010, con la intención de crear un espacio de encuentro que contribuya a cimentar la Red Iberoamericana del Libro de Artista, Libro Ilustrado y la Edición de Arte.
Unir los esfuerzos de las diferentes instancias para crear un circuito transnacional de intercambio artístico fundamentado en la creación de libros de artista y su difusión amplia en la plataforma virtual.
Crear un mercado estable y sostenible de estos soportes, al que tengan acceso cualquier artista y coleccionista -público o privado- dentro de estrategias de comercio justo.
Generar un Banco Común de Conocimiento bajo la denominación de Escuela Iberoamericana del Papel y las Artes del Libro.
GOALS
Realize a simultaneous encounter of virtual and physical character with actions (performances), conferences, exhibitions and workshops on the theme of Book Art, Illustrated Book and about Editions of Art, during the months of March, April and May of 2010, with the intention to create a space of encounter that contributes to lay the foundations of the Latin American Network of Book Art, Illustrated Books and the Art’s Editions.
Unite the efforts of the different instances to create a transnational circuit of artistic interchange, based on the creation of artist books and its diffusion in the world wide web.
Create a stable and sustainable market of these supports, which any artist and collector - public or private - within commerce strategies of the fair trade.
Generate a Common Bank of Knowledge under the denomination of Latin American School of Paper and Book Arts.
DESCRIPCIÓN DEL ENCUENTRO EN RED
Consistirá en COORDINAR EN RED talleres, exposiciones y ponencias, celebradas en las diferentes instituciones, asociaciones, colectivos, etc. que se adhieran a la convocatoria. Su objetivo es mostrar el estado actual en estos rubros, a la vez que fomentar la investigación, producción y coleccionismo de estos soportes.
Cada uno de los participantes habrá de comprometerse a realizar la acción o acciones -ya sean expositivas, pedagógicas o de investigación- y cumplirlas en las fechas y condiciones que cada cual se asigne, siempre y cuando suceda dentro de los meses establecidos para el Primer Encuentro: marzo, abril y mayo de 2010.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ENCOUNTER IN NETWORK
It will consist of COORDINATING IN NETWORK workshops, exhibitions and presentations, celebrated in the different institutions, associations, groups, etc. that join the call. The goal is to show the present state in these headings, at the same time as to foment the investigation, production and collecting of these art pieces.
Each one of the participants will have to commit themselves to conduct their own actions – exhibitions, pedagogical actions or research - and to fulfill them in the deadlines and conditions assigned by themselves, as long as it happens within the months established for the First Encounter: March, April and May of 2010.
La acciones serán de dos tipos:
PRESENCIALES: Se realizarán físicamente y se digitalizarán para emitirlas por Internet. Esta digitalización será variable en función de los recursos y conocimientos de los participantes, yendo desde los simples documentos de texto hasta los más avanzados recursos.
VIRTUALES. Serán realizadas exclusivamente en la Red.
The action will be of two types:
PRESENTIAL: They will be realized and they will be digitized to publish them by Internet. This process may vary based on the resources and knowledge of the participants, going from simple text documents to the most advanced use of the media.
VIRTUAL. They will be realized exclusively in the Web based Network.
