Call for entries has now closed. Thanks to all who signed up. I have 240 participants so the results should be fantastic. First post goes out at the beginning of November.

The format will be a postcard which has another two postcard attached (using a concertina fold and perforation). You will receive this in the post from me.
There is no theme and the idea is simple; you create artwork on one section then post it to the next person in one of the envelopes provided. This happens 3 times and then it gets send back to me where I’ll get them ready to be exhibited. Any media or subject can be used. Hopefully there will be interesting, exciting and amusing results.
I'm aiming to have the packages sent out early November (however you may receive yours later depending on whether you're 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the chain) and the exhibition is preliminarily organised for Feb/March 2010 here at UWE, Bristol, UK.
Returned art work will be scanned and documented with the aim of creating an online presence. The only charge is the postage to the person you forward your artwork onto. I’m inviting as many artists and academics as possible to take part and would like you to be one of them.
I've already had around 130 participants and it's only been advertised for 6 days. We now have 13 countries involved. I think the cut off point will be 200 so encourage interested colleagues to be quick!
If you’re interested,
email me at Helen2.allsebrook@live.uwe.ac.uk with the subject line ‘POSTAL ART PROJECT’, include your address and await further instruction.... invite anyone else who may be interested to do the same.
All the Best,
Helen Allsebrook
