MICHAEL NYMAN SUBLIME IN CAGLIARI

After Reggio Emilia, Rovereto and London, a new staging of the exhibition Sublime by Michael Nyman.
In occasion of the concert for solo piano by Nyman at the Teatro Massimo, the City Council of Cagliari organises, the Sublime exhibition: 10 large panels and 14 individual photographs. The panels are made of photographs structured following visual and music rhythms: the composition of the word "Sublime" on a street in central London, the series dedicated to passersby in the city of Mantua and Venice, random portraits at a McDonalds in the center of Madrid, the reflections of two friends sitting in a bar in Athens or the waving of the yellow umbrellas on the streets of Tokyo.
The presentation of the exhibition and the book is scheduled for 8 pm on Sunday June 28 at the Teatro Massimo, one hour before the concert, scheduled for 9 pm The event is organized in cooperation with the Labor association, MN Limited, Kinomusic and the Municipality.
