If you are visiting Melbourne for the Fair then make sure that you drop in and see the exhibition Inspiration by Design: Word and Image from teh Victoria and Albert Museum at the State Library of Victoria and also see the John Wolseley exhibition at the NGV Australia in Federation Square.Here are some articles about those shows:
Just a short drive away from Melbourne is the Clunes Booktown Festival this wekeend which now includes a range of interesting artist book related exhibitions, displays and talks, and is always worth a visit. Artspace in Sydney has also announced that it is getting into the artist book fair act with its new Volume 2015 project which is described as 'Australia's first independent art book fair' and is calling for applications from potential exhibitors - you can find out more at http://www.volumeartbookfair.com/
