Just wanting to let you know that the review of FOAB has been submitted to Peter @ Bonefolder - He reckons he will place it in the next issue. Thanks again for your proof checking.
Michael - I saw your message at the group - if you put it on your own page as a blog entry - it will appear on everyone's main page. You may also want to send it out as a message to the artbooks email list? Robert
Hi Michael Thanks for a great symposium. Perhaps the artist's book sits on a wobbly shelf labelled 'nexus of paper, print, the virtual and the fleeting'
Michael. Have been away last week but I was pleased to have been at Artspace on the Friday night and I must say that I am thrilled to have my work become part of such an eminent bookarts collection.
Many thanks for your kind words. I'm sorry to have missed the forum this time. All reports say it was a major success. Congratulations to all involved.

Dear Michael, thanks for your message. It was wonderful news to receive, I only wish I could have been there, but Tokyo is a nice alternative location! (I am back in Sydney late June.) Apologies if you receive a double message, not sure if my reply yesterday went through.... ever the luddite, Marian
Wonderful, Michael. I had a great time at Mackay Focus on Books V. The entries were of excellent quality and I can't imagine the headaches the staff had in trying to display such amazing works. The support by artists and friends for the Australian Book Arts Journal was overwhelming but the work has just begun! Keep in touch with the idea of contributing for the August issue. I will write again soon. Linda
Hi Michael
Hope you have had a chance to relax and put your feet up after a few busy days, and that's not even counting the busy months in the lead-up. Congratulations to you and all the staff and volunteers who help make it such a great forum.
All the best

Hi Michael, I'm having withdrawals. I am in New York on my Fulbright Scholarship for 12 months so I can't be at Mackay for this conference. NY is great and I am having fun learning a bit about letterpress at the Center for Book Arts in my spare time. Best wishes for a great conference. hi to everyone. clyde
Hallo Michael, I am disappointed that I will be unable to attend this year's conference. I am in Tokyo for 3 months undertaking an Aust. Council visual arts residency. Wonderful to be here, the blossoms are blossoming, although I look forward to some warmer weather! I hope the conference goes well, I will have to wait another two years for the next!
Cheers, Marian

I spoke to Julie Barrett yesterday and she said the show looked very good - I hope that i get to see it when it comes further south.. I'm unable to get to the conference this year as I'm going overseas in a couple of weeks and just can't do everything! wish I could.... best wishes to you and hope the conference goes well

Have you ever seen a book by Tim Johnson called Spare Parts ? Issued from Albermarle St, Newtown in 1971. Can't seem to find a record of it anywhere. Best N
