Gillian, its a pity, it would have been so wonderful to get a book from you. Really not in the music collaboration?

Hi Gillian,

Thanks for your message! I hop you figure out the blog thing. I like your collage work. You must always be looking for usable images wherever you go! Nice binding too. Something I need to teach myself.

Dear Gillian,  you dont have to improve your pc skills, I had to approve any comments on my page and here it is. I read one minute ago your letter to Scotts grandson and the letter is realy touching, the book is one of these artist books, I dont have to read from cover to cover, but imediatly I feel the artist state of mind, I only have to take that book in my hands and I feel remembered what is important in living together, living together in a family, together with children. But then I tried to read a page on PC Monitor, and I think it would also be interesting to make a public reading. I am thinking about the word "structure" in your latest post, and I will write something  to you, I always write with LEO by my side, LEO is an online dictionary, because my English ...oh God..so it takes some time, by for now.

Best

Dear Gillian, Im very pleased, thank you. Yes, Regenarator for a great, important project for me, every day I spent some hours in my studio reading the book, pondering about live and art, drawing and painting an altered book. I hope there will be a new projekt like this, with UWE, with Sarah Bodman or maybe elsewehere. Dear Gillian, I saw your wonderful books here on artist books. ning, I like them ,Im wondering if we are working somehow in a similarly direction. Did you see my Drawing diary pics here on artist book? There is the whole book as a video on myblog:

Best wishes

Available to everyone: Robert Jacks & Printed Matter

10 September - 24 October 2016

Printed Matter is pleased to announce Available to Everyone: Robert Jacks and Printed Matter, curated by Peter Anderson.

The exhibition presents two connected bodies of material: a survey of artists’ books by Australian painter, sculptor and bookmaker Robert Jacks (1942-2014), and an extensive selection of publications drawn from Jacks’ own collection, many of which were purchased from Printed Matter in the early years of the organization.
